I know that nobody else is interested in TU - which is why this is from FC Halifax forum!!

"Halifax's congested schedule of 4 games in 8 days left Halifax with no recovery time between matches so when they played their 4th game against Torquay United today you could tell they were a team of fatigued players just going through the motions."

Point being - they are full time players!

And I suppos that this is their first experience of such a congested schedule, whereas it is the norm for us (with a smaller squad in all probability)

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse it does, fixture congestion obviously an issue but injuries, suspensions don't help compounded by squad size mean we are on somewhat of a downward spiral. Didn't expect much from Grantham even less now but always hope, saving what's left of the team for cup final/semi final :-D

A tremendous result against one of the best teams in the league. Well done to all of the lads and the management as we had players out of position and some playing for the umpteenth time over recen5 weeks.
Another goal for Glover too who is enjoying a fine individual season.

And hope came in the shape of a last minute Danny Glover goal, no more than we deserved :-D

25 goals for the season now for Danny Glover, but apparently we haven't got a goalscorer.

Reminds me of those Whack A Gator arcade games on the pier at Weston. In this case every time Sheriff pops up his negative head he gets a metaphorical whack

Hear hear, and as ever thanks Dan

I've cheated and only watched the goals as there's a lot of pressure on my time at the moment, but I did enjoy their fan's comment on their "goal attempt" about 5.50 onwards just before their goal

:-D

Danny needs to work on his goal celebrations, i'd have thought he would have had it sorted by now!!

firm, bobbly pitches coupled with a strong breeze seldom make for a high quality game. Great goal and perhaps in hindsight Danny could have celebrated with a lap of the track.
