No news or sign yet of the League filling that blank Saturday (16 September) for us and the other teams who crashed out of the FA Cup at the weekend..... I know one of our fans wants it to stay that way, but it does seem strange to have a blank Saturday when we have full midweeks for the foreseeable future, not forgetting that this is a semi-pro league, the players (and most of the fans) have work to do midweek!

They might be waiting to see if Alty lose their replay tonight.

You and BH clearly planned your activities for that weekend in the confident expectation that we wouldn't make it past the 1QR of the FA Cup!

I'm hoping that a game is arranged as there are some strange midweek fixtures eg Hednesford v Alty which is a ball ache for visitors.

I'm unlikely to be able to get to Halesowen next month for the midweek game so playing it on the 16th seems sensible.

I'm sure all will be revealed tomorrow

No, it only seems sensible for you.

I'm going to struggle to make any Tuesday night games at all this season so moving a home Tuesday night game or a local away game to the 16th will be fine with me!

Still nothing from the league yet.

Although according to the Whitby Town Twitter they will be at home to Sutton on the 16th and Farsley will be at home to Halesowen so that's one option out of the window

Matlock are playing Marine on the 16th and Coalville v Witton.

Only Workingtn left as an option?

Personally I much prefer mid week matches under flodlights I feel there's a special feel to those games.
So I don't want any rearrangement.

I'm sure those clubs that got gates under 300 last night will agree! ££££

Great news. It means we can lose the game in nicer weather!

Not that it affects me but seems a sensible change for the real supporter to travel up in decent weather.

Keep an eye on the FA Cup tomorrow. If Nantwich draw then our game on Tuesday will be off and should Ashton come through their tie then the fixture at their place on the 30th will also be postponed

The game at Marine will be off as they beat FCUM in the trophy today. we could play against whoever Alty or Lancaster were due to play.

Stourbridge or Barwell at home then.

Post subject:  Re: Fixtures: 2017-18

Stourbridge have a replay themselves so I'm not sure that would be viable. May not be a good idea to have home league fixtures on four consecutive Satrdays given that this is a expensive time of year.
