Thought it was going to be the weather forecast!!

Form goes out of the window for these sort of matches - all down to tactics, fitness and determination.

One of the things that really gets me, especially with the squad situation now and the dip in form is the saga of Mason Walsh.
We were murdering sides with him and Gibbo in the wide roles, then he gets recalled by Alty on 6th Feb, he has made two subs appearances for them since then. What a waste of talent!!!

I don't think he got recalled, he signed for us then Alty put a 7 day notice on him and he decided to re-sign for them. Its his fault he's not playing regularly, he would have been if he'd stayed (if he could find his way to the right ground anyway).

Be good if it could be re-arranged for Friday 6th April ... I could then get three matches in during my visit!!

I think that the league should extend the season now. Our fixture list is going to be a joke and we won’t be alone

It's OK jackie, I think they usually get a ref to do it

Not for first time Chasetown on and we are off, not sure if as they have done got fans working on the pitch would have helped with our game.
But we'll never know as don't think we would have got fans upto Keys Park as we have done so previously.
I have good links with the club but even I am aware of an apparent prevailing disconnect between fans and the club and started to think about my own involment next season.

I did call in to see the ground and thought the ref would be there, however there wasn't anybody.
It's the usual problem in front and of the main stand where there is a large pool of water.
That area is in general very damp otherwise probably playable.
Don't think there's been any work carried on the pitch.
With a settled spell of weather to come probably ok for Thursday.

COMMUNICATION between Club and Fans has been a bone of contention for far too long.

Players come and go with no announcements made, often we only find out via the Manager's programme notes or a team sheet on the day.
So much has gone on within the Club, not only over this season (Carl Cooper?) - and yes, much is private and belongs in the Owner's files only - but paying supporters do deserve the odd snippet to keep them going.
Our Press Officer does his utmost, but often he is as in the dark as the rest of us are.
