"Draw" - yeah, right

Could they not make it more obvious that they've just paired up teams geographically?

Goals (interesting that they replay the goals but not the penalty incidents, both a tad dodgy?!):

Benbow seems to have been on the Akinfenwa Diet.

It's the NPL Christmas lunch tomorrow, in Knutsford (that won't be cheap) and after, if the dignitaries are still sober, they will be making the draw for the last 16. It's going to be regionalised so we will probably draw Strangers or Coalville.

Matlock is one of my favourite grounds to visit and unfortunately I had to miss the early season league
game there so I look forward to going there in the new year and gaining revenge for our earlier defeat.

Quarter final draw (southern section)

Hednesford v Basford (13 March)
Stafford or Coalville v Mickleover (TBC)

I'd fancy us to beat any of the three other teams from our league over Basford, who have only lost two league games all season and are 19 points clear at the top of Division One South.

Two Pitmen old boys on the mark for Strangers.

Perry has just turned 32. I wonder how much longer he can go on...

I assume the league will have to put our names into a hat and pull one out just to decide who plays at home.

With us now in the semi-finals it's probably about time we included the northern section part of the quarter-final draw and this is as follows:

Workington - South Shields (Thur 29 Mar)
Atherton Collieries - Ramsbottom United (Thur 29 Mar)

SF: Hednesford Town v Atherton Collieries (12 April)

That makes it 5 home games in 11 days? (Rushall, Buxton, Stourbridge, Stoke and Atherton from 2nd-12th April).

A proper draw! Coalville got the short straw then.

Any semi-final is tough, but out of our three semi finals this looks the easier of them all. I expect South Shields to make the final.

We’ve still got to find a date for Nuneaton yet!

I've not played it yet, but apparently there is an interview with the managers of the clubs in the Integro League Cup semi-finals, which should include Rob (or Larry):

Suddenly realised late morning when I was on my airport taxi run that I'd forgotten to look up the result...

Credit where it's due, they've claimed two big scalps in the SF and Final to win it
