Good for you... but having had 3 fans there last season I wouldn't expect many more this time... and our regular tweeter is otherwise engaged...

Looks like this may be our source for updates... even if they can't spoll "Evo-stik"

I'm sure that expectations will be quite low so a draw would be a great result

Thanks as ever Dan; it's a close race between you and James Wren for who is our most consistent performer this season

Looks like the lads didn't disgrace themselves - just a shame we're still snatching at chances - and that we gave the freedom of the park to the scorer in the build-up to the goal and as he finished it off

sooner Glover is replaced the better
we need one striker who can score 30 or two that can score 15 each

Would that be the same Danny Glover who has already scored 5 for us this season (if I can add up!) and is a leading scorer by a country mile!

Get off his back, he is a real tryer and Hednesford through and through, unlike a few players we have had!

Is this the Danny Glover that has scored 35 goals in a HTFC career spanning 105 games not a bad return imo.

If you have the names of these strikers who can amass 30 a season I am sure every manager in the NPL will be in touch with you. ;)

Danny scored one and played a vital part in the other two in the win over Sutton Coldfield. He works hard, wins plenty of flick-ons which nobody reads or takes advantage of. He is not a prolific goalscorer, he is a creator. If anyone expects him to be a prolific goalscorer then they don't understand the type of player he is.

Totally disagree!

That is called putting all your eggs in one basket - and if that basket gets 'broken' or decides to bu**er off elsewhere then you are snookered.

Goals need to be shared out among players - depending on just one or two is fatal

Danny Glover averages a goal every 3 games which regardless of whether or not people rate him makes him a player manager's will want in the squad. The problem is not Glover it is whoever plays with him, Rodgers availability has been an issue, while no-one else looks like a regular scorer.

Somebody on Facebook was slating him saying he's done nothing since he started at Hednesford. I don't get it, I really don't.

Danny is one of the most committed players we have had for a while (along with Tom).

He always tried his hardest, has scored a good number of goals and plays the support role well too.

While others have not tried or just pushed off, Danny has shown a lot of loyalty to the Pitmen and clearly has his heart in the right place. It really annoys me when folk get on his back like they did at the end of last season - if no - one gets the ball anywhere near him, there is nothing he can do with it!

Stick at it Danny lad - us in the main stand love you matey!!

Glover is one of five players I'd keep out of the current squad. he has always been a number ten rather than a nine and his intelligent play sometimes passes his teammates by. If Rodgers is going to be crocked all season and Nadat is going to be another Tony Clarke then I'd say we have more urgent priorities.

Not really (I have far more important things to occupy my mind and my time), but if all they did was to come on here moaning all the time we wouldn't miss them

Here's an idea. Let's all get behind the team and the management for the rest of the season...
