Floodlight robbery. Can't be bothered to bang on about another clueless ref, but was he playing on until Rushall scored again?

Thought we were well in control until they took the useless Brodie off and then the pace up front caused us problems.

Can't split Reece and Callam for MOTM.

After watching Saturday's debacle at Sutton I was hoping for a big improvement tonight but frankly tho we did improve we were at best mediocre.
Having looked the better side for long periods it took us until the second half to take the lead with a powerful header from King following a corner.
Thereafter it was all Rushall who pressed for an equaliser and eventually got one when Bailey was beaten for pace on our left leading to a high far post cross which was duly headed in.
With yet again a scratch pairing at centre back we looked somewhat nervous all night tho Man of the match Curly was outstanding at right back and covered the central partnership throughout.
Rushall were at best average but they went forward with pace and gave us plenty to think about.
There's no doubt we've got some way to go before we can take on Stafford with any confidence.
We have another chance to find improved form on Saturday so let's hope we can take that chance and record a good performance and win.
The officials were average and the playing surface following the week ends matches was excellent.

I thought we played ok, but Rushall have a bigger squad and more options and ultimately that told. All of our lads gave it their best shot with Jones andCurley outstanding and many others close to matching them.
The ref frustrated me as Smikle appeared to have a licence to keep fouling without penalty whereas a couple of our lads weren’t allowed a second chance.
The quality of football in the las few weeks has been poor from every team I’ve watched and the simple fact is that there are too many games being played. Fans have lost interest as well.
Thankfully the authorities have seen sense for next season.

We dug deep again to earn a point and as far as I’m concerned Saturday is a meaningless fixture as we have a big game on Tuesday and that should be the focus.
