Let's not kid ourselves. He has gone for the money and nothing else. The rumour last Saturday was correct after all.

...he might be a millionaire, but that doesn't mean that the club sees any more of that money than he chooses. Losing a manager and our best player to a club near the bottom of an equivalent league and our centre half to a club that has one man and his dog in attendance at games indicates the extent of our plight.

Can you blame him? How much money has he put into the Club over the years? And what has he got in return .. apart from abuse and aggravation!
There comes a time when a man in his position has had enough and needs to call it a day - and I do know what I am talking about here!!
Being a millionaire really has nothing to do with it today .. why would anyone just pour money down the ever deepening drain called 'Owning a Football Club'?

Finding a suitable buyer has to be a priority now - and maybe the asking price is currently too high, but if Mr Price is serious about selling then he will eventually be forced to lower the asking price.
I cannot see him just winding the club up .. there is far too much at stake. (IMHO)

Unless mistaken I recall and paraphrase, wouldn't let the club fold but it may have to find it's natural level. Fair enough club has to live within its financial means, not many actually do and are therefore dependent on a financial backer. Unfortunately our natural level whatver that is may not be viable in a stadium size and associated running cost of Keys Park, so another further financial backer will be required to maintain current league level.

Meanwhile, down the road, one club is moaning about only having 15 fit players...

Many NL clubs would dream of that....

I don’t see it as being a major problem at the moment. I would have thought that Griffiths and Gatter will take the centre half positions tomorrow and it wouldn’t surprise me if that pairing became our best of the season.

Dylan Bath was on our bench today. Has previously played at step 5 for Whitchurch Alport.

There is nothing on the official websites or Twitter accounts of Solihull or AFC Telford (yet) so it remains a rumour...
