You have to give it to these lads, they don’t mind travelling do they?

Doesn’t Reece live in Worcester?

Absolutely destroyed the season. And it still seems a petulant kneejerk decision.

I like Reece. An honest lad, puts a shift in etc. But he's a headless chicken too much. I wouldn't mind if he'd gone to Bromsgrove, that would be ambitious, but Buxton

As for Jed coming back, well. I don't like slagging off individuals so I'll keep my mouth shut.

If the players are offered enough money then they will travel anywhere to play. A lot of stuff gets said about Midlands based players not wanting to sign for Midlands clubs in the NPL. Money talks!!!!
Rob and Larry got stick for doing something similar years ago

And it won us promotion.
And it wasn't a big budget.

I was referring to when they went to Telford. I dont recall them taking this many players. Point taken though.

I thought he lived in Malvern. If so,it's 97 miles to Buxton and a two and a half hour drive. He works as a primary school teacher so must have a very understanding head teacher. Buxton have still got to go to South Shields and Whitby.

Signing the league’s top two scorers (Harvey and Lennon) suggests differently I must say!

To be clear I was referring to when rob and Larry left us to go to Telford and took McCone. I’ve lost count of how many have gone to Buxton but I bet the number exceeds that when R and L went to Telford.
The one thing I will say about Hayward during his time with us is that he lacked class. Seems he is lacking imagination as well now.
I don’t know how Buxton are able to double the wages of our players (unless we are paying 50 quid) but it can’t be sustainable in the medium term and to win that league you have to spend big.

Spending big and likely to be relegated atm.

The additional income from the plastic pitch, and the not-lost income from not-postponed games, will help...

what's the chance of these players being replaced, with Pricey on his way out , he will want to take every penny with him, so no chance

Having read the positive posting by Groundman Dave regarding the pitch - I would sincerely hope that a very reasonable playing budget has already been discussed.
Obviously now for this season it will probably be what Mr Price has settled on plus maybe a top-up from the new owners, but then next season should see a completely new approach made.

Don't forget that until a permanent manager is put into place, the option of signing players is limited as they wont know who they will be playing for long term.

And not wishing to add to it all I'm sure Shaun Rowley loan is up as if I'm not mistaken he was loaned for one month.
