Nice to see the new kit images - but this should surely have firstly been released via the Club's Official website rather than on social chat ... as the Official website is linked to both media channels anyway!

Kit looks lovely and yes Del we were always told if it isn't announced on the main website it's not official.

Correct, it’s the unofficial (checking bots and bobs out - legals with the league) but we don’t expect them to change very much.

Plus we are currently revamping the website at present in the background. 👍

I think the green trim is polarising opinion, is it the same colour as the sponsor's logo?

I like it, but I guess the green trim will take a bit of getting used to. Like the image of the bloke playing the high striker at the fairground :mrgreen:

The web address is rac-e.co.uk

Yes Race, Lionheart Security iand Kazoo are our sponsors.

Race = Graham's Company
Lionheart = Ade's Company.

Extra Personnel had a connection with Steve Price, so with Steve gone we will have a new sponsor.

I do like the miner though.

Boredom got the better of me so I've mocked the shirts up on Photoshop:

Good to see the fluorescent yellow remaining - it really stood out on the pitch last season, particularly under floodlights. The tertiary colour on the home shirts has changed plenty over the years - it was blue when I first started coming then changed to red for a good while, so green's no issue

I wasn’t too keen on the green trim on the home kit when I first looked at it but I’m starting to like it that bit more each time I see it (so I’ll keep looking). I guess a new start should mean a new start with the kit too whilst keeping the traditional white. Away kit looks nice to me.

I'd guess that's because of the Pitman image which wouldn't be a standard shirt design.

I’m sure the away shirts were cheaper than the home last year too.

Hi Guys.
Prices are set due to production and design costs.
Away shirt should be around £5 more. But we wanted to keep prices as low as possible.
Home shirt, style, design, type of shirt etc, again should have been slightly more but again we wanted to keep prices as low as possible :)
We have done more also on tickets (presently we are looking at cheaper prices than last season and larger discounts for previous season ticket holders).
Hope that helps guys :) 👍

Clearest image I've seen yet of the Pitman...

:clap:

Just been perusing some other club websites today and saw this on AFC Rushden & Diamonds' site:
http://www.afcdiamonds.com/home-and-awa ... te-2020-22
Proof (if ever there was any needed) that Graham was right about the pricing - a bespoke Macron home shirt for R&D is coming in £10.00 more expensive than ours and if they select the same design away kit as ours they'll be paying a whopping £11 more, so we aren't in any position to moan about pricing
(I see there's a nice new grey polo top been added to our club shop this week also - very nice!)

Also we encourage people to order directly from the club 👍. As the club takes no monies or cannot deal with any issues if ordering through macron directly.

First batch on their way...

I see a lot of Macron's affiliate clubs are doing NHS shirts to raise funds as a way of thanks. Have we been approached to do the same? I'd purchase one if they were available at £10.00

Bilston were doing something similar recently and their shirt looked great.

They did indeed and I ordered one. Haven’t had it yet though.

we wasn't approached about this. Gut feel is that the clubs in some instances (as we have the same issues) is gaining sponsors during the COVID-19 situation. As shirts need to go to print on dates, to be ready in time for the season (assuming a normal season). Where this hasn't been able to be confirmed it was better to do the thank you for NHS in this manner. But knowing what little shirt sales brings in, it would be much, unless selling 1,000s of shirts.

We do plan a different way of raising funds to charity after this is all blown over though :) And we also have different ways of thanking people also which we will implement.

:)
