This page, you mean?

http://www.southern-football-league.co. ... on=results

Looking at the " (crows) " in the SLP, everything we said at the end of last season is proving true - higher (crows) in the NPL, weaker standard in the SLP. I'm pretty damn sure we'd be at the top of that one now...

Tyrone Barnett gone on loan to Peterborough until the end of the season with apparently a fee agreed in excess of £1m to go through in the summer.

... and his wiki page is quickly updated too!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrone_Barnett

He's potentially better than that, but I guess at least that means he will get a start whereas if he'd gone to a club higher up the league structure he might have been benched.

Heard Posh's Chairman Darragh MacAnthony on TS last week, talked an awful lot of sense - and since their modus operandi is to buy hungry players from lower leagues, develop them and then sell them on at a profit in due course, if the move does become "permanent" it might only be temporarily so....

I can understand Crawley letting him move on now that their FA Cup run is over, but having also sold Tubbs I wonder if they'll put their promotion prospects at risk. But hey, who cares...

BTW, can anyone tell me what an "emergency loan" is?? - Watford have today taken Kusczak on an "emergency loan" from Man Utd, less than a week after they let Rene Gilmartin go on an "emergency loan" to Crawley. Eh??!!

:?

Ty's goal and brief highlights here

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17173747

I gather from a text message from a fellow-Pitman that both managers were (I'd better clean this up) eulogising about his debut on Saturday....

Deano's post-match comments here

http://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/page ... 31,00.html

"... wrapped his neck round the cross...."

Love it!!

Bello released by SCT

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/inde ... &nid=83199

An experienced goalscorer with a fantastic career record, he could be just the man to come and score the goals to propel us to the play-offs and beyond!

Liam Francis, who's had more clubs this season than I've had beef wellington dinners, now with Romulus and playing in midfield, apparently

Weird

I thought Louis Briscoe never got a proper chance (like a lot of skilful players in non-league who don't run round like headless chickens) . He had lowered his sights to join us and then found himself on the bench. No doubt he had a large ego and that seems to be why he went so quickly.

With 71 goals between them, that front 3 was a bit good wasn't it?
