Just to say that I question whether the coach for Worcester City or Solihull Moors actually leaves at 12.00pm??

Midnight seems a bit early even allowing for beer stops - I think Noon or Midday is meant!

Wish I'd thought of looking up that link

Well. Fancy. And Del an ex-merchant seaman too. You'd have thought he'd have known how the 24-hour clock/12-hour clock worked

  (muppet)

10.00am - 11.00am - 12.00pm - 1.00pm - 2.00pm

... 10.00pm - 11.00pm - 12.00am - 1.00am - 2.00am

"Since strictly speaking "noon" (midday) is neither before nor after itself, the terms am. and pm. do not apply."

"By convention, 12am denotes midnight and 12pm denotes noon. Because of the potential for confusion, it is advisable to use 12 noon and 12 midnight."

24 hour clock is a doddle, which is what we should all be using, no am or pm ... 1100hrs - 1200hrs - 1300hrs

... or go the whole hog as my friends at TNS do and say "tonight's kick-off is at 19:45pm"!
