Just seen a claim on Facebook/Twitter (I don't have time to verify it) that Gary Hackett at Stourbridge will be the longest-serving club manager, in the top seven tiers of English football, when Wenger moves on...

As I said, I hadn't had time to verify it... but since you raise it, that guy has been there since 1995... Hackett has been at Stour as joint manager since 1993 and manager since 1995 (it says on wiki, which is always right... ;) )... so I reckon he'd still have a good case...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Hackett

And indeed in going to post on Gary's Facebook page I find that Midlands Today ran the story and confirmed 1993...

You'd best take it up with The Non League Paper then ;)

Arsenal fan railing on TalkSPORT about Arsenal's abysmal defending for the Atletico goal last night.

"What does Steve Bould do in training?!"

Bob Mills: "Hey, those cones don't put themselves out, you know!"

Many a true word....

I did hear Wenger say "we know now what we have to do. We have to go there and win the game."

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foo ... ref=883716

It's this insightful perception which has kept him in a top job all these years...
