Presumably today's draws will be up to and including the round at which we enter, not that you can find out anywhere and there's no mention whatsoever on the FA website about the draws today.

The round at which we enter hasn't in fact been drawn today, but here is the draw for the rounds preceding it:

Walsall Wood in Extra Prelim Round action on 5 August.

"The departed" are suddenly going to realise what they've done...

Extra-prelim round scores here

http://www.thefa.com/competitions/thefacup/results

(We have our doubts as to whether the score currently shown for match no 5 is correct... :? )

Winning start for Walsall Wood with Paul Sullivan scoring twice.

Ben Jevons skippered AFC Wulfs to victory

How unlucky is that, you score 19 goals at home and still lose. :?

Slight error in there, as a good pal of mine has pointed out. South Shields don't play in the "Northern League Division One"

The BBC must be using Wikipedia as their "reliable source"

(More thread creep....)

... I was trawling round on the FA website/Twitter in the vain hope that I might find some mention of today's FA Cup draw.....

No; but I found this...

Nice work if you can get it...

Their Twitter here (with some interesting comments already...)

https://twitter.com/bostontownfc?ref_sr ... r%5Eauthor

Their website here

http://www.bostontownfc.co.uk/

On the one hand, it's a bit of a trek and a potential banana skin

On the other, and I may be being selective here with recent memories, we seem to have done better away to teams from lower leagues (eg Nuneaton Griff, Stamford [twice], Carlton) than at home (eg Newcastle Town, Pegasus Juniors, Belper Town) in recent times

(I think they were all in the FA Cup...? Someone might like to do a more detailed and accurate analysis...)

And at least one member of the programme team is happy that we don't have to produce one for that day. Although there might be a replay...

Don't be looking at the league table on their website - it's last season's! - maybe because they haven't really started this season yet, due, no doubt, to their FA Cup progress

Some very strange ties in there - while there's a clear "north" and "south" section to the draw, the "Midlands" section seems to cover a vast area

Unless, of course, the BBC choose us for their live tv coverage....

Message on twitter about contacting club re: coach to Boston cost £25. Travel Club are exploring possibility of running a coach but needs to be self financing before we will do so. The £25 is based on 20 travelling if more travel cost will reduce accordingly. Once we know we have sufficient numbers or not we will advise on the running of a coach.

Hereford v Godalming is an interesting tie. 270 mile round trip for the away team. I not sure what the FA is playing at
