Following an early morning pitch inspection – although it’s breezy outside today it’s very much “Game On” at Keys Park this afternoon against Nantwich Town.

Looking forward to first game in ages :)

Hoping to bring Derek and Hansel the dogs to their first match. Derek can't be held responsible for his actions if the ball comes too close though ;)

(Only kidding.......probably)

It's going to be hard work watching Danny Glover playing for the wrong team...

At Asda you can't use the parent & child parking spaces unless the child is 12 or under.

Damn, they're onto you!

Whose job is it to tell all the kids who came today that it isn't always that exciting?

Very nice to see a healthy crowd at KP and see the new steering committee / consortium whatever it is called today.
But would someone at the football club please like to tell all us supporters their names, what their role is within the club and what their objectives are.
We all felt like mushrooms again today.

Football was entertaing but not for the purists.

You mean you haven't lately?

Apart from Scott Smith (no wonder the tweets were late!) I assume one was Andy Whitehouse? One was Stuart Harris? One was Kurt **? One was Jasper **?

A very enjoyable day. Great to see so many kids there today. My son came along with his three mates and they enjoyed the game even though they usually attend games at FL clubs. Hopefully we can have a number of similar events over the course of next season.
I echo Keith’s comments. It would be nice to put names to faces, but welcome whoever you are.
Onto the game itself. I must confess that after twenty minutes I could only see a nil nil as conditions were poor and not conducive to good football. As it was both forward lines were superb and I have to say that the draw was a fair result despite the fact we threw two goal leads away twice.
Nantwich bossed the midfield and we were guilty of giving too much respect and time to them. We showed great character to equalise at the end so well done to the lads for digging deep and getting us closer to survival. Two wins will do it despite the prospect of four points being deducted for various reasons.
I thought Danny Glover turned the. game on its head. Glad he didn’t start!
Well done everyone a great game to be present at.

Should add that Sweeney was excellent today and scored the goal of the season in my opinion.

I would say that O’Hanlon stooped to head home rather than rising highest, but it matters not.

we would have took a draw before kickoff but felt a little disappointed not to have taken all 3 points
Defence was excellent first half but fell to pieces second half
Sweeney was excellent as was Wells

Had a good day out...entertaining game and the dogs got to eat their own weight in burgers and chips off the ground. Shame there wasn't also a win on the pitch but can't grumble against that opposition. So predictable that Glover would score :/

A classic Keys Park encounter played in terrible conditions and a tremendous advert for Non-League football.
Kieran Preston made about four superb saves but the MOM has to be Dan Sweeney with two goals (one of which was sensational) and an assist.
I'm enjoying watching football again at Keys Park since Nicky Eaden and Gary Hayward took over. Thank you Gentlemen.

Shouldn't the Management Team/Consortium Members have their names on the back of their jackets so we know who they are?

Apart from Scott (who fortunately didn't wear his shorts) and Terry   ??

After someone else mentioned it at the end of Saturday's game - watch Sweeney's goal against Bamber Bridge in October again (9.01 onwards) and compare it against Saturday's strike

Pretty much a carbon copy. And at the same end too!
