Well, goals certainly haven't been hard to come by in our pre-season games so far!

Well, that was a slightly surreal afternoon.

Bangor were woeful and included 8 or 9 players based in Malta in their squad, a motley collection of Italians, Argentinians and even a few genuine Maltesers. Their Chairman/manager explained that he used to coach in Malta and had brought over a bunch of players to have a look at. Sems they also had a number of players unavailable.

I've never seen a team not have a physio with them. Eve had to treat their player who got a serious looking injury.

We could have scored a lot more so it's difficult to know what to make of it. But...

Platt, the new keeper (3 keepers in 3 games: good to keep up last season's trend) wants to play a bit with the ball at his feet but got into trouble a couple of times.

Despite Bangor being awful, they still created 3 or 4 excellent chances. Early days but we were carved wide open at times.

Hurst looked excellent in front of the back four, worth trying again against better opposition.

Evans looks a real prospect, tremendous skill which reminded someone of Jamey Osborne.
