The word on the streets is that the BBC selected Paulton Rovers v Sutton Utd for the live lunchtime coverage, but Sutton wouldn't agree to an early kick-off so it goes ahead at 3pm, not live on t'internet.

It seems they haven't yet settled on plan B...

St Albans v Boreham Wood it is then

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41557714

This would surely have been a better choice, especially as it will be a sell-out...

Old news, but I've been away!

Hyde v MK Dons on BBC next Friday night (which means there's no "only Connect", sacrilege!)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41683919

Newport County v Saddlers live on S4C on the Saturday, 5.15pm ko

You can find the BT Sport live games by doing a bit of detective work on the fixture list here:

Good old Central News! On the programme tonight they. showed goals from selected ties involving local sides over the weekend. When Kiddy came up the caption said, "AFC Flyde 4 Kidderminster 2" . The summariser dutifully trotted out ," Kidderminster were well beaten at fellow non-leaguers Flyde"

Brilliant wasn't it. As I'd just emailed you (and others) about this before seeing your post, I'll share with the rest of the class....

With my serious(ly grumpy old man) hat on, it does worry me that, although we have this in-joke about calling them "Flyde", so many broadcasters and others do it. Appalling ignorance... people who don't know the geography of the UK shouldn't be allowed to

- leave the country

- work in the media

- leave their house

- get out of bed

Meanwhile on Five Live this morning the sports newsreader said that "Fleetwood came from behind to win 2-1 at Chorley , who are three tiers below them in National League One."

Now I, and lots of my pals, reckon we're pretty expert on non-league football, but I defy any of them to tell me what "National League One" is.... or maybe it's just that a guy working for the self-styled home of football hasn't got the faintest idea what he's talking about

;)

PS Fylde v Wigan should be a dead cert for live tv coverage in the next round.

I love how Slough Town are playing down the importance of the £72k they'll be getting for live tv coverage a week on Monday night....

"flying out the door..."

That's "flying out of the door..."

And I don't believe that they are, anyway...

And how considerate of them to "offer supporters the chance to buy a shirt....."

Decent draw... and apart from Liverpool v Everton and Brighton v Palace, there are many David v Goliath clashes which usually represent the most interesting FA Cup games.... so how on earth are the tv companies going to find an excuse for showing Man Utd v Derby, which would be United's 879th-consecutive live tv FA Cup game? I'm sure they'll find a way - hey, the BBC think it's the second-biggest-game, see the headline!

If Fylde, Woking and Hereford lose their replays there won't be a Non League representative in the Third Round. I wonder when the last time that happened?

Here we go again...

As it stands, it's Leicester v Chelsea on the Sunday afternoon (presumably live on BBC) and two of the QFs kicking off at 3pm on the Saturday... but I'd be surprised if that remains the case...

Wigan v Saints live on BBC1, Sunday 18 March at 1.30pm (another chance to see Chey Dunkley in action)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43225939

So it's not on Saturday 17 March as they previously indicated then. I was again prescient...

 ;)

I wonder when the whingeing will start about Spurs playing at home (if it hasn't already...)
